Co-founded by independent curator Maya Martin-Westheimer and multidisciplinary designer Sean Abrahams, Floorplan is a creative collaborative that produces projects and publications. The duo are inspired by the potential of cross-disciplinary collaborations and the power of creative storytelling to create positive change and shared understanding.
Within its independent practice, Floorplan engages with alternative models for creating social and cultural critique; works have taken the form of exhibitions, documentation, programming and design. We are fascinated by creative practices and the people behind them and are invested in creating unique platforms for creative engagement.
We welcome collaboration, shared projects, and community engagement.
Mapping transformations over time, critically approaching everyday encounters, counter contextualising, deep ecology, diversity, examining clustered sea snails, exploring physical and non-physical space, water towers, artefacts, ecology, speculations, community, reciprocity.

The Gadigal People are part of seven clans in the Eora Nation and have an extensive culture, ecology, stories and songlines unique to their region. Floorplan Studio is a creative publishing platform with a focus on ecology, art and culture. We believe in the power of creativity to reveal meaningful stories and make sense of the world around us. We are committed to facilitating and producing a variety of creative outputs, and we see creativity as a part of everyday life.
